The Organic Orbit concept was started by Phil Thyen in 1998 when he founded the casual eatery Organic Orbit in Denver. In 2007 he moved the concept to Boulder, expanding it to elegant dining in the evening along with casual daytime fare. Organic Orbit takes the Birkenstocks out of organic food, and the stuffiness out of fine dining, all with a mission of reconnecting with nature through food.
